Abstract

Flooding can occur due to rising water levels because rising rainfall almost occurs every rainy season arrives. The worst affected area in Tegal Anyar Hamlet, Kalijeruk Village, Kawunganten District, requires transportation facilities for the distribution of relief materials, namely ships. So the purpose of making this final project is to design the hull, calculate the estimated production time and test the ship's results. The design process was carried out using the James H Earle method approach. With stages including problem identification, literature study, initial design, making design design, design identification, and implementation of production processes. The shipbuilding process is carried out several processes such as the fiber manufacturing process, cutting process, welding process, gurdi process and finishing process. The materials used in shipbuilding design are meth, resin, roving, catalyst, pigment, wood plywood, and steel plate. The result of the hull design is that the ship design consists of 3 main parts, namely hull assy, transmison assy, and steering assy. The hull has dimensions of 2516mm x 940mm x 350mm, the total load transported on the ship is 1602.75 N with a buoyancy force of 28540 N, bending alloweance is obtained 2618.28 mm. Based on the shipbuilding process takes 414,288 minutes. The results of the tests carried out obtained the results of the hull being able to run stably in a calm water flow when subjected to loads of 50, 100, and 150 kg and the maximum depth of the hull dipped in water 25 cm.
